The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Combined defence service examination. This written examination conducts twice in a year. Every year this written examination conducts in the month of January and February and July and August. Every year a large number of candidates appear in this written examination. This year also the departments has been announced the notification to fill up the various posts. There are total 250 Vacant vacancies available for the posts of Indian Military Academy, total 40 vacancies for Indian Naval Academy, total 32 vacancies for Air Force Academy, Hyderabad, total 175 vacancies for Officers Training Academy (for Men) and total 12 vacancies for the Officers Training Academy. After announcing the notification a large number of candidates have filed the application form and also was appearing in this written examination, which was successfully held in the month of February 16, 2014 at various examination centers. Now the attended candidates are waiting for CDS Results 2014. The result will soon be updated on its official website at www.upsconline.nic.in.
