The Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) was inaugurated on 6 February 1966 by Zakir Hussain, the President of India. The university is located at Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. The Chancellor and vice-chancellor of the university are Governor of Tamilnadu (Konijeti Rosaiah) and Kalyani Mathivanan. The university has 18 schools comprising 72 departments, and 109 affiliated colleges. It offers 41 postgraduate, 35 M.Phil. and 17 Diploma / P.G. Diploma / Certificate courses in the various departments. Some of the main departments are biological Science, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Historical Studies etc. Every year, many thousands of students enrolled with the university. The university conducts the entrance examination for admission in various courses. The university conducts the annual examination for all Undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the month of March to May. This year the university has been announced the result for these all courses. Many students have passed in this written examination and many failed. Now those some candidates have been appeared in the revaluation examination. Now the university, also announced the Madurai Kamaraj University Results 2014 for revaluation examination.
