The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) was established on 1 July 1949 with the objective of auditing and financial accounting profession in India. It was established under the Chartered Accountants Act. The Headquarters of the ICAI is located in the city of New Delhi, India. The ICAI has various branches in all over India. Every year the ICAI conducts the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) and Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC) examination. The CPT is the first level and IPCC is the second level of Chartered Accountancy examinations. The CPT covers four basic subjects viz. Fundamentals of Accounting, Mercantile Laws, Economics and Quantitative Aptitude. Mostly the ICAI conducts the CPT exams in the month of June and December. This year also the ICAI has been conducted the written examination for CPT. This written examination was held in the month of June 22, 2014 at various examination centers. A huge number of interested and eligible candidates have been appearing in this written examination. Now the department is going to announce the CPT Results. This result will available as pdf format.
