The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) is conducts a written examination for Computer based National Entrance test (TISS-NET) every year. It is a computer based objective type test. Every candidates who have a rudimentary knowledge of working with a computer can take the test. This examination is conducted for two year full time MA programs offered at the institute. The institute offered the various MA programs such as Master in Rural Development and Governance, M.A in Social Work, M.A in Ecology, MA in Environment and Sustainable Development and Master of Library and Information Science. A huge number of candidates will be appeared in the written examination which will be held on December 22, 2013 in 35 centers located in different parts of the country.
